Well we did far better than I imagined we would before we kicked off, what with selling and offloading over half the team and little in the way of replacements, coupled with no takeover of the club still !
Plenty of young faces and we looked hungry, plus we actually won an opening day fixture, a very rare event for the blades.

Got to feel for Aaronson there. He’s got to win back the Leeds fans, scored the equaliser but then misses the perfect chance to win the game.

Rooney starting well, he'll be managing in League 1 or 2 within 6 months, 12 if he stays with Plymouth.
He couldn't manage a broom closet.

Rooney will be lucky if he last until Halloween base on his record.
Surprised that we (Stoke) started the season with a win against a Coventry side I think will be around the playoffs. Our squad looks quite lean at the moment and certainly is worse than that which ended last season. Hoping we’re busy in the market in the coming weeks.
Can’t see much beyond Sheff United to go up with Leeds and Burnley not far behind.

Stockport and Wrexham doing well in league One. Would be great if they keep up this momentum. Both came up last year both top this year so far.

Another away win for town v Tranmere. Up to 7th. Donny lost 0-1 to Bromley.

Speaking of tomorrow. Unless we go out to win it, I can see us struggling.

Yeah potential banana skin, I'm hoping they come here to try and play, might leave them exposed and open for us to score quite a few.
