Hi everyone, I dissembled my laptop (NP550P7C-T02CA) to change its keyboard but it looks like the keyboard has been secured with melted plastic, instead of screws. That's the best I can describe it.
So I'm not sure if I remove the keyboard and replace it with a new one, how would I secure it the keyboard. https://ibb.co/VVrsFfg
Thanks

Welcome to the forum. I don't know that laptop. But this guide doesn't seem to indicate it's held in with melted plastic. Are you sure that's actually holding it in?

EDIT: However if it is indeed held in by plastic rivets then maybe this video will help? It seems to show the repairer using a soldering iron to melt the plastic to remove the keyboard, and again to melt and spread it to hold the new keyboard in place.
