can we make a poll to change the ocuk voice coms to ts3 ?

who wants to keep mumble ?

who wants ts3 ?

cheers :D

yes and the mumble server hasnt took on been used as much as hoped. maybe teamspeak which is generally more popular will make it more useful and user friendly .

it costs nothing to change and takes minutes to swop over

If teamspeak is so much more popular why didn't it win the poll the first time?

Awesome logic.

probably because people thought mumble was cool  then they left once using it and went back to there own ts3 ;)

look at bf3 thread look at the people who have there own ts3 :)

more people have ts3 coms themselfs than mumble on here . so its easier to just come on ts3 than swop to mumble. ts3 is easier to use and simple.

if more have it and its simplier to use its common sense :)

well let the voters decide , thats the point.

They did vote originally and voted for mumble. I think that was the point of the original poll.
Mumble is super easy, I do not understand the "ts3 is easier and simple" comment. Mumble is easy, maybe different, but still super easy.
I am more than happy with the OcUK provided mumble server and fail to see the point of changing or the poll.

I'm sure you came through with exactly the same broken logic last time.

It really doesn't make that much difference to me but if you think that it is worth the mod's time to go through and arrange a new server, reconfigure it and sort the admin out, etc (which is a longer job than the 5 minutes you are suggesting) then great. If they're willing to do that, great.

I seriously doubt it will make a big difference to the server use numbers though - aside from perhaps reducing them when people can't be bothered to install a new client.

Well said.

Just let people use what they want, you'll get people going back and forth, so it will never be settled.

its a poll french if more prefer ts3 after using mumble then you have your answer dont you . lets just let the voters decide

Leave it alone. Mumble was voted originally. If you can't work out the minor differences between them then stay out of voicecomms. We don't want someone with that little intelligence coming on and talking to us anyway! :p

i am only doing this because there are 8-10 groups with ts3 servers who play bf3 . how many use mumble for ocuk each day regular at peak about 8 or maybe ten people?

with ts3 you could have 5 times as many people willing to join the ocuk one for no extra cost . whats the point of having a mumble with 100 places and 8 people on ?

when you could have potentially a lot more for little effort ? worth having a look at least isnt it ?

the ones mainly objecting are from the few who use mumble haha.

Some people prefer to be in smaller groups of people they get on well with. Maybe that's the reason more than the platform.

A channel with more then 10 people on it just gets ridiculous in terms of people talking over each other.

TS fanboys still exist?

Mumble has a lot lower latencys. It's not as bloated and it simply 'works'. ;)

This should not change. If it does, a step backward imo.
