Poll: change OcUK mumble to ts3 poll

I voted ts pureply becuase nowadays you are lucky to find 2 ocuk BF3 players on mumble, yet go over to ts and you find at least 20 of them on there.

No point using something which people don;t use anymore

Mumble has a lot lower latencys. It's not as bloated and it simply 'works'.

This should not change. If it does, a step backward imo.

My opinion on the matter: Ive always used TS2/3 or ventrilo, it does the job and I havent had any problems with it, I wouldnt download mumble for one group who use it.

whats lol about it you have like said 8 -10 people with ts3 servers who are playing in groups who are ocuk players and not using mumble either at all or much.

these are playing bf3 the " main stay " of gaming on here at the moment.

the avg use of ocuk mumble peak time during week is like 8 players at once max

with the teamspeak converts it would be double avg at least for sake of changing it.

the mumble is changeable doesnt cost ocuk a penny to change and is simple to do. its worth ago just to see if it is more popular than the current mumble but some just dont want to try

And I don't play BF3. Not anymore so the BF3 arguement falls flat. L4D2 & WoT players I know all use Mumble.

But tbh I don't really care. It's just Mumble won last time VS all other Voip clients...

You seem to be under the false assumption that everyone using TS3 on their established servers will move over if OcUK change to TS3.

If there is another poll, it needs to include ALL voip applications but in my opinion, another poll after not even a year is silly.

Pick one, stick with it, over time, it will become more established.

If you keep changing, people will just say **** it.

My 2p worth is that Mumble just works in a very clean way.

I have seen quite a few groups convert to TS3 from mumble which I used to prefer. I prefer TS3 these days as it has more functionality and the ability to be on several servers at the same time.

If you bothered to read or pay attention to the previous thread where we already discussed and voted on all this (or even this thread, where people have commented too) you would realise that many of those people talking about mumble have already evaluated ts and vent.

french forget about evaluated previous votes polls look at today and use of mumble on ocuk .

its a 100 man mumble server with about a handful of people on daily

all im suggesting is we try teamspeak 3 which wasnt tried and see if it is more useful and enjoyable and used.

i have had a mumble server myself recently it was swopped over it took all of 5 minutes to teamspeak 3 . i have used all the voice coms myself before and had servers in all of them, probably like yourself.

teamspeak is more widely used. debate about it whatever i dont mind. simple fact is you havea 100 slot voice coms a big community and basically a small percent of the community using the voice coms at current.

with a simple change and it is simple you could have double or more for no cost little effort and more fun . is it not worth trying what you have not tried ?

that is all this is about getting more of us on together having a laugh while gaming. why not make use of what we have to maximum potential ?

What a pointless request, TS3 offers absolutely nothing over mumble, what do you dislike about mumble? What technical reasons would be behind the switch? What could TS3 possibly offer besides "some people prefer it"?

we have we didnt like then we went back to ts3 which is what im trying to tell you .
