Hey guys,

Currently with O2 LLU but looking for a change. Would Sky LLU be the next best choice?

Don't want to pay anymore than around £13 a month.

I get random drop-outs at least a couple of times a day. It will lose connection then automatically re-gain connection after a couple of minutes. Sometimes the router has to be manually switched on and off to re-gain connection which is very irritating.

Been experiencing problems for months . Have contacted customer service and gone through the usual steps they tell you but to no avail :(

I see you're in Essex, out of curiosity what exchange are you connected to? Had this happening to me at the Rainham exchange in Essex also, but o2 and BT kept chucking me to the other, no one wanted to accept the blame. Moved to BT and they fixed the line, seems it was faulty equipment at the exchange.

You can check what exchange you're connected to and what LLU/fibre is avaliable to you here: http://www.samknows.com/broadband/broadband_checker

I'm connected to the Grays Thurrock exchange.

Sky LLU would be a decent alternative.

have they had BT out to check the connection your end ?

They mentioned a BT line check but told me that if there was no fault I would be charged over £100 which put me off, don't know if this is true.
