Change to ADSL Max with router off?

Demon are rolling out ADSL Max over the next few months and the
estimated date for me coincides with me being out of the country.

Being of a certain age I switch everything except the fridge and
freezer off when I am away.

My question is, what would be the consequence of the router being
off for a couple of weeks when BT make the switch?
 
as far as i could see, none whatsoever. When you turn the router back on, as long as your username/pass are the same the router will connect to the service that is supplied on your line, regardless of the speed
 
Indeed, it won't make any odds.
For what little it's worth, you should count the initial 10 days as being from when you connect back up, but other than that it doesn't matter.
