Changing boot disc. Much difference?

Hi all,

I'm changing my boot disc from a partition on a 750GB Samsung Spinpoint to 2 x 500GB Samsung F3 (Raid 0).

Realistically will I notice a significant difference over what I am currently using or say just 1 x 500GB F3.

You will notice a difference on boot, installing windows (or anything else really big) and in load times for progs but not much else.

Remember to back-up that RAID 0 array or you may be sorry ;-)

I should be ok for back ups, 2 x 2TB (Raid 1)

It's worth pointing out that RAID 1/5/10 should not replace backups...
