Hi :)

I Have a SSD Running my Windows 7 Operating System , my other drive is a normal 1TB Drive Which I am using for my apps/Games etc.

When installing a Program It always wants to install it to the Program Files in the SSD , Im having to manually change the Installation Folder/Drive

is there anyway to change this in windows so it always installs on my 1TB Drive?

To change the registry, follow these steps:

1. Start Registry Editor by entering “Regedit” in the search All programs.

2. Locate the following:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

3. Right click on the value named ProgramFilesDir & change the default value C:\Program Files to the path you want to install all your programs in.

You will also need to alter the value for ProgramFilesDir (x86).

4. Click OK and Exit.
