Changing Direct Debits Date

I have just moved to a new job and could do with changing the date of 90% of my monthly direct debits to a new date. Is there any easy method to do this via the bank? (RBS in this case) or do I need to contact each supplier to request a date change individually.

You'd have to contact the suppliers directly as you may be in a different agreement with each one.

As above you have to contact each one directly, for most of them you'll probably have to make a larger payment on the first month you change the date (assuming you're pushing the dates back).

Yes a DD allows the company to draw the funds, hence they are in control of whats taken when.
