If i were to switch from BT to BE Broadband, would there be any downtime on my connection?

Also, BE are a good provider yes?

There will always be some downtime on a migration. How long is another matter. I don't know what the state of the art is with BT to LLU migrations, sadly.

Actually last time I migrated I was still up on my old broadband, changed my username/password in the router settings, and I was up on the new broadband. Then I told my old ISP I had switched and they shut the old service off. So no downtime at all.

If you migrate you should get very little downtime.

My parents recently migrated from BT Wholesale-based Zen to O2 LLU. Total downtime was minimal, literally a case of only a few minutes.

When i migrated from AOL to BE unlimited ,i think net was down approx for couple hours max.Be is excellent service provider though.
