Changing my ways...help!

It's better whether you're cutting or bulking to get protein from real foods. Also, due to the mercury content you should really only be eating about 3 tins of tuna a week. So I'd try and get some chicken in there at lunchtime, maybe alternating between the two. Even if it means buying the precooked and packaged stuff from tesco.

MTA99 recommends adding flax seed powder to shakes (though I haven't yet sourced any) which is conducive to burning fat.

Never heard of flaxseed powder helping to burn fat, it's a good source of Omega-3 and fibre though. Tesco sell organic flaxseed very cheap, great stuff :)

Peanut butter is supposed to be good at helping burn bodyfat, can't remember why though....

Think its a mis-quote/mis-understanding that EFAs help promote fat loss.......altho there seems to lots of results in google for Omega-3s fat burning properties CLICKY . Will investigate later

You're right about Omega 3's but fish oils are a far superior choice for that purpose.

One of those things I remember reading but didn't really take any notice of at the time.... I think.... :p ;)

Thanks for the advice re: the tuna. I will mix the lunch meals around and have chicken some days instead. It just means getting off at Holborn instead of getting off at Chancery Lane so I can visit the Sainsbury's.

I'l also see if I can drop one of the whey meals (either mid-morning or mid-afternoon) for 100G chicken as well - would that be better?

I am grateful for your help guys. Thank you ;)

100g of chicken is about 20g of protein. 200g of chicken would be better.

1 meal of mine a day is 180-200g of skinless and boneless chicken and some green salad. its great :]

I ought to be able to do that. I think the hurdle ATM is finding somewhere near work that will sell me the chicken cooked like that - I am hoping the supermarket can ;)

Tesco's sell 1kg of frozen chicken breasts for £2.99 :p

are those the ~100g breasts both skinless and boneless? my wife bought a 1kg bag from somewhere for me, but they were down from £5.99, so if these from tescos are similar, it will be a big bonus!
