changing o2 tarriff

how long do you have to wait in a contract before you can alter your tarrif, ie a cheaper one?

After 9 months you can downgrade your contract.

Surely it depends on the length of the contract? T&Cs should be up on their site.

you can downgrade after 9months on a 18month contract, after 12months on a 24month contract. but to move up a tarrif at any time, just need to give them a 30day notice. from what the guy in o2 store in town told me on sunday. for sim only you can change your tarrif(up or down) after 3 months.

ok thanks, im on 24 month. does it make any difference that im on a business tarrif?

u can only downgrade one tariff at a time.

IE from £55 a month to £50, next month £45 or w/e the next tariff is.

can do it after 3months (on iphone you can anyway)
