Hi all, I'm currently using a 3/8" tubing premade water cooling set and the CPU block has a minor crack and i'm left with a stock cooler that is running temps reasonably high so i'm looking to reuse it as swiftly as possible. I don't have " a lot " of experience with water-cooling so would love some advise from you.

I need a CPU block for a Socket 1336 (intel i5 760) motherboard is an MSI P55 board, i'm looking at the http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-088-EK

however it doesn't say it comes with a backplate/fittings and i'm slightly unsure what to get, i was thinking of http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-051-PB

And along side it http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-042-BP&groupid=962&catid=1529&subcat=1797

Will all of these fit together? or have i missed something? also i noticed the fittings are out of stock so is there any alternative for 3/8" or is it possible to change tubing and buy alternative clippings? Some help/guidance would be very much appreciate.

intel i5 760 is socket 1156 not 1366

Wouldn't make a difference with the block but the back plate wouldn't fit

Edit. Unless you are planning on using allot of clamping force then you don't need a back plate.

Oh ofcourse, not sure why i was thinking of 1366, Well those barbs are out of stock so is there any alternative i can use to get around them? would love to have this up and running tomorrow.

Regarding the backplate, so that one doesn't fit do overclockers sell a backplate that will?

The block doesnt come with a backplate.
As said you'll only need a backplate if you are going to be using excessive amounts of mount pressure.
I assume the kit should come with screws and springs.
I would have thought that if you need a back plate to cope with the pressure of the springs that they supply, then they'd supply one.

Edit: Just had a quick read of the installation PDF, you can use the block with or without a backplate. But don't over tighten if you are not

Thanks a lot, i hadn't realised the block itself come with mounting springs. That's cleared that up. gone ahead and ordered with some new UV white tubing and barbs.

Block is fine, no need for back bracket, just don't go mad with the tightening (im using a EK block without back bracket and its easy enough) if you get any problems post back or PM me.
