Changing PS4 Thermal

I have done it. Putting it back together was a nightmare, literally I was gonna throw it in the Bin, the blue ray stopped taking discs in I kept opening and closing, checking wires.

It's quieter now, but if anything goes wrong you wish you haven't opened it. At least that's what I was feeling when I was about to throw it away, thankfully I gave it last chance and it worked.

I followed YouTube videos, I can do it now without looking from the amount I opened and closed it.

Seriously let me relax as that was quite stressful lol.

Yeah i don't need to look at any guides anymore, can strip it and put it back together with ease now.

What did you end up doing to not allow it to take discs? Done it quite a few times, never had that happen!

Not sure, could be the wires but thankfully it's working now perfectly and quieter.I have noticed that the eject button doesn't work but I think it wasn't working before I opened it too, when I press it it beeps 3 times as if there is no disc inside. Obviously it's not a huge problem as j always eject from the menu, but if anyone have had this and fixed it please let me know.

Thanks

Just did mine, not a difficult process, though I have a spare torx screw now :D

Pretty whisper quiet not, will put it through the paces soon, see how it sounds.

That is disgusting how it was allowed to become as dusty as that. It wasn't normal looking grey dust. Lots of hair, dog/cat? Broken/fragile HDMI ports?
