changing ram

Hello,
I recently got a Haswell setup and have been having bsod issues. I'm now on the MSI forumns trying to pinpoint the cause and it seems it may be the ram. Does anyone know overclockers policy about changing ram that's flakey on a given motherboard?

Board: MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming
MEM: TeamGroup Vulcan RED 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-17100C11 2133MHz (TLD316G2133HC11ADC01) - running at 2133 XMP

I can test that set up for you mate. Are you running the CPU at stock??? when testing???

I will test tomorrow and report back. I am actually helping MSI with future Bios revisions and memory compatibility.

Here you go.

Full Bios settings for MSI GD65 16gb Team Group 2133 C11 with 4.6ghz Overclocked Haswell. No problem!!!

4.6ghz...cool. I'll try putting in those settings later and see how it goes (except i'll try for 4.2)
The wierd thing was the pc was passing all stress tests, then bsod'ing while doing simple things like opening a browser.

Bleh, serious derp moment...was copying all this down to paper when i remembered i have an ipad that could show the webpage.

8Pack: a couple of your settings go into the RED when i set them, are they still safe?
One that goes red is CPU SA VOLTAGE OFFSET

I used your ram settings but halved all the offsets since i'm aiming at 4.3ghz, they seem ok. Does running the vcore at higher power all the time reduce the cpus life or increase possible failure?

Yeah MSI are aware of this "redding" out they are fine yes!!! I am working closely with them with regard to all Gaming series boards and I had a meeting with teh Bios engineers at Computex to ensure several fixes.

I would not post if not mate. The Offsets if stable are fine. They are actually IMC volts those ones so I set for 2400+ to ensure however rancid your CPU it would be stable. This is no where near my best CPU by the way.

I've had 2 reboots due to overclock failure, both times while idling on the desktop; Maybe i've messed up it up, i only overclocked to 4.3 so i halved all the power values (the increases, not the total values)
