Attempted to change my bathroom tap today.
Isolated the valves and undid the nuts but the bolt holding the actual tap is hard to get to and seized up .
So everything now is back to how it was only I have the slightest bit of water gathering at the nuts.
I'm guessing Ive moved the pipework a little ?
Getting a plumber in to sort the taps out just a bit concerned about the slight bit of water from the nuts.
Should I just isolate the tap for now ?or a bit of PTFE?
Any thoughts ?

How much is a bit? If it gets wet it's fine. If it's making your floor/wall/other sensitive furniture wet, try catching it. Will a rag or saucer do it?

Sorry didn't make it clear. It's just a slight weep it's not a drip. It's just like a tear drop around the nut.
Will get a professional in , I don't know why I bother with plumbing myself!
Just didn't want this to turn into a massiveeak but it's all secure apart from the weeping.

What tools were you using to loosen the tap nut? With the right tool it's sooooo easy.

If you haven't added any PTFE tape, get some wacked on, that should definitely help.
Also remember when putting the tape on to follow the direction of the thread.

The correct way to apply the tape is to follow the direction of the thread, as if you were tightening up the nut. 99.9% of the time, nuts tighten up clockwise, so this is the way you should also apply the PTFE tape.

It sounds like you did manage to remove the pipework but couldn't remove the tap (try a wrench on the actual tap and turn that rather than the bolt to help loosen it, but be careful not to damage the basin).

As for the weeping, if you re-used the washer and it's old and knackered it probably needs replacing, you might have cross threaded it (unlikely if it's only a weep), you may need to just nip it up more, or as everyone has said, use PTFE tape.
