Changing the windows 8 bootscreen ?

Although i have become quite fond of windows 8 i really dont like the bootscreen, why a fish ???
Is there any way to change this ?

Its a beta fish isn't it?

Anyways are you using the release preview as I didn't think the fish was in that?

The beta fish is gone in the release preview. It will be replaced with the new Windows logo or, as far as I'm aware, the OEM branding.

If you have a proper UEFI system it uses the BIOS splash screen stored at 0E as the boot screen (with the little circle thing overlayed), the idea being you get the same image from when you power the machine on until it hits the desktop/lock screen.
