Changing the XP Welcome screen...???

I would like to change the XP Welcome (logon) screen. Now i downloaded a screen off DeviantArt which came with all the bitmap files etc.

Now i know u have to use resource hacker to change the logonui.exe file. etc etc etc.

anyway, what i am actualy stuck with is the modification of the logonui.exe file. i opened it in resource hacker etc and change all the bitmap images. However the welcome screen i downloaded has more images than is in the logonui file, it goes from 100 - 127, however the screen i would like to use goes up to 131!

So the first question is: How do i add a folder and then add the image into it?


Also the screen i downloaded came with a file called theme.ini and UIFILE.txt where abouts do these go??

Anyhelp would be appreciated.

ok i have figured out how to add the rest of the bitmap files.

However i am still totaly confused as to what and where the theme.ini and UIFILE.txt files go.

I've tried this before and seem to remember that some themes were deigned to be used for certain programs to apply the skin? Like how you can use a dedicated program like Window Blinds to change the windows theme. Maybe you need an extra bit of software?
