Channel 4 saying the Simpsons wrong!

Because i am lazy and enjoying my time off University. I have been watching the simpsons in the morning on channel 4, its on now.

For the last 2 days i have noticed something that has really annoyed me.

The annoucers are not saying 'The simpsons'. They are saying things such as 'The Bimpsons', 'The Grimpsons' and (most recently) 'The Simpletons'.

I trust you it's not my hearing, they are actually saying these things.

I have missed something?
Has anyone else noticed it?

I'd of thought so if they'd only done it once but they've done atleast 5 variations that i have heard.

Could this have something to do with Sky? Can they buy a name?

Channel 4 need to stop showing them if they keep up with their maddening campaign to edit out all the "non-pc" jokes

Annoyed me so much I went out and got the dvd's of the good seasons

I did noitce they had edited a few episodes i watched. They are edit a cartoon but they still employ Jimmy Carr, Seriously Channel 4.
