I recently ordered some goods totalling £108 (inc VAT & Shipping) - now before the goods had been shipped, i rang to cancel the order, however the company is saying that i might have to pay a charge for cancelling??

Can this be right, is it allowed? Surely its not my fault they charged my card before shipping the goods and need to refund it to my card??

No, they manufacture the goods and always carry stock as its a standard item.

The simple fact is they charged my card before shipping, i cancel and now they wanna charge me to refund

Was it over the internet, in which case you have a 14day cooling down period where your allowed to cancle or return item as long as it hasn't be used. Then can only charge for postage.

heres the act:

Cancelation is section 10

Yes it was over the net i ordered it, and i guess they cant charge me postage as its not been posted...hence no charges should be incurred :)
