I remember coming on to ocuk before the season started and some of you Blackpool fans told me this guy would be a good buy in my fantasy team and he's been better than good he's been fantastic.

I saw him play for the first time today and I think he is quality definitely premiership level from what I've seen of him so far.

what do you all think of him?

There's a banter thread, but aye, two goals, and a good player. I do see him moving on if he keeps this up! No disrespect to Blackpool, but that's the way I suppose.

I will tell you this, he was nowhere near this good when he was at Rangers. To be fair he was decent in dead ball situations and scored a few goals but he wasn't a patch on the player he is at Blackpool. A bit like Alan Hutton at Tottenham.

Maybe it's just because they get to play football down south.

tbh never thought he was bad when he was at rangers, but he really has stepped up a level since his move, fair play to the boy, dorrans is another example

remember blackpool paid £500k for adams iirc dorans went for £250k

I wouldn't go that far, he's a decent enough player. He can certainly step up another level but I think top 4 is beyond him.

Surprised how few apps he's had for the Scotch.

I can only echo the above. When he was at the Gers he never showed the ability he is performing at now.

His passing has become excellent and is looking a far more complete midfielder. Would like to see him in a Scotland jersey more often in this form although our next competitive game isn't til next September :(

He was overweight and very inconsistant at Rangers.

Ibrox is a very unforgiving and intimidating place for younger players trying to break through. The expectation levels are unrealistically high from the fans to the point that young players are scared to express themselves for fear of a barracking from the crowd. It`s on a par with the Roman Colluseums in that respect and hinders the progress of youngsters.

Away from Ibrox they seem to be able to lose the inhibitions and this is when others teams can take advantage.

I`m delighted for him.
