Charlie Adam of Blackpool

Rangers went through a spell where some really promising youngsters were coming through, and I could see them forming the backbone of a team for a long time: Hutton, Adam, Burke, Smith and McCormack spring to mind. Now they're all gone after spells of various success at Ibrox, leaving McGregor as probably the only player of that group at the club.

I was praying Newcastle would sign him as we were linked with him before the end of the season but Blackpool got promoted with us and dashed them hopes :(

Wow 3 yr old necro :/

Is he still at Liverpool or was he shipped out, cant even remember but what i do remember is Liverpool fans slating him, left, right and centre:p.

Constantly played out of position for us, played as the man behind the striker when he was at Blackpool he played with two runners next to him and everything went through him.

If we played him deeper, between Whelan and N'Zonzi, we'd be a beast of a team ... unfortunately our manager likes to play a hard working striker on the wing, our best winger is at Wolves and a half decent defensive midfielder at left back!

Stoke City destroyer of talented, exciting players :D

(I'm allowed to say the above because I watch the **** week in week out!)

I wouldn't go that far, he's a decent enough player. He can certainly step up another level but I think top 4 is beyond him.

Surprised how few apps he's had for the Scotch.

Step up another level - Blackpool to Stoke is up a level.

Top 4 beyond him - he couldn't even cut it at Liverpool never mind top 4.

Right again!
