best way to chase out a tough breezeblock bathroom wall for a shower cable?

cut a channel first with angle grinder/cutting disc or just chisel away with sds drill?

SDS drill with a chisel is the easiest IMO but it's going to get messy either way!

Depending how long you need to go, I have stitched chased lines out before. You need a fat drill bit something like A 22mm or wider on sds.

Tape up doors and leave windows open - I put a big fan on window sill to try and blow dust out - My walls were black ash blocks - I hope yours are not.

I have to go atleast 6 foot along the wall and yh its dusty, gave me a sore throat just chiselling the tiles off

it was in some plastic trunking before but it looks ugly

Don't think I've ever installed a shower cable from the side. As long as it's in zone :)

I have to go along near the ceiling and down to the shower, can't drop the ceiling as its a flat

Its safe to do isn't it? Won't weaken the wall? Never done it before

Anywhere to hire an actual chaser from locally? It would do it in about three seconds and be perfectly formed.

SDS on impact only would chew it easily, it doesn't matter how neat the chase would end up as it'll get plastered surely?

I did half of it today, the dust forced me to stop, ill do the rest tomorrow maybe and post some pics

god it was dusty/messy
