Anyone no of a software chassis fan controller. I have an asus a8n-e board. I know I can get hardware solutions but I was wanting to save the cost. Im not that intrested in being able to change the speed once its set, just reduce it to around 40%. Sorry if there are any mistakes in this post. Just dragged my self up out bed and im half asleep :o

Hmm...does not seem to have any control over the fan speeds. As I move the speed % should it change in realy time or do I have to apply changes some where?

yer they are, not working tho :( nevermind thanks anyway. Nice program tho, its got a few other features I will use. Im wondering if I could connect to fans together on the same power cable and run them in parallel, potentially halving the power to each. Think this will work altho im worryed about them drawing to much power. Any one no if it will?

You could always do the 7 volt mod. Which won't cost anything. all you do is connect the red wire from the fan to the yellow wire on the power supply molex connector and the black wire from the fan to the red wire on the molex.

That seems to have worked. Did it to my side intake fan and its near silent. I also go a zalman molex splitter for a few quid for my two stealth fans, that seems to have done the trick for them. Still got two more molex fans, I put them both on the same dedicated fan molex from the power supply but they dont seem to be any better. I think I will mod both of them two but im to tired now as ive just taken it all apart and cleaned it out.

Thanks for the help sputnik
