Chatrooms: Anyone still use them?

I was talking to an old friend via the most commonly used social media site and we got talking about how we had first become friends on Yahoo chat 13+ years ago and it got me thinking about Chat rooms in general today....

Does anyone use them still if so which ones?

Yahoo merged with Lycos chat didn't it? pretty sure it's now called Noesis after Lycos folded, i used to use it around 6-7 years ago, but the amount of perverts then was, well...... Don't use chat rooms anymore.

No, but nicely timed, my friends from high school and a few random internet nutters all used to use one, as we lived dotted around in different villages, and actually meeting up was tricky sometimes. This morning one of them got in touch to propose a meet up of all of us who used to be on it from about 12 years back. Sounds fun.

I was a chatroom regular back in the good old days of GeoCities. Then Yahoo! took over and it was rubbish, so I stopped. Haven't used a chatroom since 1999.
