Hi People I have an issue, my kids wont leave my PC alone, my daughter is always on internet games and my sons always on my steam account so I need to make them a PC as the one I brought an old Dell workstation I got them isn't up to the task, its too "laggy" as my daughter states, its old and has like a £15 gfx card.

I need to build a new base I have a spare hard drive, keyboard, mouse and screen but need to build the cheapest PC possible that will run as a minimum Minecraft, Ace Of Spades, Saints ROW at lower settings if required it just needs to be cheap.

I have seen that some AMD processor seem to be capable of also running games now with some sort of integrated graphics.

Please help I need my PC back.....

No.

This will give the bare minimum of gaming performance and I think is as cheap as you can go for your needs with new parts. Gaming will have to be done on low settings for any modern games.

If you can install the OS via USB you can afford to lose the optical drive

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte F2A55M-HD2 AMD A55 Chipset (Socket FM2+) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £40.99
1 x AMD A6-5400K Black Edition 3.60GHz (Socket FM2) APU Trinity Dual Core Processor (AD540KOKHJBOX) £39.95
1 x TeamGroup Elite 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (TED34GM1600HC11DC01) £31.99
1 x EVGA 430W 80 Plus Power Supply (100-W1-0430-KR) £29.99
1 x Zalman T1U3 Mini-Tower USB 3.0 - Black £20.99
1 x Samsung SH-118AB/BEBE SATA 18x DVD-ROM (Black) - OEM £12.95
Total : £190.36 (includes shipping : £11.25).

The above will work for bare minimum but as your kids get older they may well want to play bigger/better games in which case the above will not cut the mustard.

Do you want to ensure you don't need to upgrade for a while or just get something asap?

I have a very high spec downstairs which is fine when I am at work but the kids want to play and the PC upstairs cant deal with internet games let alone anything better. My daughter is 10 and son 8 but are wanting to game more and more. I am thinking that ExRayTed's £290 spec may cut it.
