Cheap BlueRay player with .mkv support?

My friends WDTV Live has no decided to not show a picture (apparently a common fault with these), he’s looking to replace it, I’d normally suggest another small media player, but from what I see most modern cheap BlueRay players now support mkv. Playback, with this in mind could someone please recommend a cheap BlueRay player with built in .mkv support (over USB)

My Panasonic plays them no problem - I have the 220 but the current 130 model should play without issues - £50 at Richer Sounds.
