First if all I know I could use my iPhone 13 Pro Max but I want a cheap camera that uses SD cards as it is so much easier to get video onto my mac from an SD card. I had a search on Amazon and there seem to be some between £30 and £40 which seems to fit the bill but I'm just wondering if they'll be OK for recording either 1080p or 4k videos for YouTube? If they are not decend choices is there something else I should look at?

Chinese knock off Go Pros are surprisingly decent quality too.
I'm coming back to this thread as I didn't buy a camera originally but over the last day or two I've been doing some research into what would suit me and I have ended up considering the Sony ZV-E10M2 which seems to be well regarded for YouTube videos although it is much more expensive than I was originally planning to spend. It'll primarily be used to take videos of my desktop from the side and above.
