Cheap car rental?

who for? if it's you, good luck as iirc you're 20? Im yet to find one full stop that will do under 21

Is this whilst the scoob is away? If so, why aren't they covering it?

If its unrelated, I've found local small companies to be the best at accomodating unusual rental. I hired a long wheelbase van last month at a cost of £35 for the day!

I'm not doing it insurance, makes better financial sense to do it myself. Large excess + insurance prices next year mean do it myself :)

Completely forgot about age restrictions, how gay.

It's not that Fox, there's no point in me discussing what I'm doing with my car in this thread, but lets say, second hand parts and labour done by me saves a lot of money!

And I'm 20 so :p to you too

Is it possible to get added as a named driver on someone else's policy? I was added on my mum's car for a few weeks for around £30. Depending on how long you'll need to rent the car it may be viable to buy a cheap banger with t & t, use it then sell it on.

some smaller firms said to me if i arrange my own insurance they'll rent.

Also, I get rental cars through my company all the time, not sure if that matters? It's done through a company called "Total Motion" who deal with lots of larger firms like hertz etc, their number is 0116 251 1122

Tom.

How about hiring a motorbike or scooter ???? if you can't get a hire car

(But i Don't know if you need to be over 21 to hire a bike as well)

Generally you need to be 21 with any of the major companies.

Peugeot (yep, they have their own rental company) are sometimes willing to compromise, especially if you can provide your own insurance.
