Im looking for a new case with decent airflow for a new quad core build. I dont want to spend too much on the case so was looking at the NZXT Beta or the Antec 300. I prefer the looks of the Antec and the bottom power supply placement, the NZXT on the other hand has toolless drive fittings and cable management holes, I also like the black interior. Can someone give me their opinions and some advice on these cases?

Thanks

Havent used the 300 but the antec 900 was one of the cheapest and more importantly best cases i have had in terms of airflow and looks

The Antec 300 is a great little case, with fantastic airflow (if you add the front and side optional fans). Cable management will be much easier and neater with a modular PSU though :)

Here's a pic of my 300:

Funnily enough was looking at the OCZ modular PSU on sale at the moment., I guess the 300 it is, Diverse, your case looks great how noisy is it with all those fans?

It's not that noisy considering I have five fans running, although I am considering getting myself a fan controller to make it even quieter (the fans themselves are really quiet, it's the amount of air passing through the case that makes the noise).

The fact that I have fan filters fitted also adds to the noise (more resistance to air flow means a bit more noise).

Apparently the Coolermaster CM-690 is pretty good too...so it might be worth a look? (it's slightly more expensive than the 300 though).
