Anyone here get Tesco clubcard vouchers? If so, you can get to see a summer blockbuster for £2.50. I've got £16.50 of vouchers. I'm wondering if I can get into 3D or IMAX for £2.50 instead of the usual £13. I'll call Cineworld tomorrow. Seems good though eh? :) Don't know what blockbuster to see though. I've done Pacific Rim, Superman and Fast and Furious.

Ah, just seen Elysium is at my Cineworld 21st August, in IMAX. That's the one I want to see. Really hope £2.50 sorts it, that would be really cool!
 
lol how many point's is 2.50?
I only have 90 odd since january but never shop at tesco and only accrue them from my electricity bill with eon :(

250 points. I earn a penny for each pound I spend then get regular vouchers for £3 to £5 every few weeks. I use Tesco almost every day so it's a bonus when vouchers drop through the door. :D

I think I get 1 point for every £2 electric but I only use about a pound a day lol
 
Ah, fair enough Aeleys.

I spoke to Cineworld and Tesco. So here's the deal.

£2.50 buys 2D
£2.50 + £1.50 upgrade buys 3D
£2.50 + £4.50 upgrade buys Imax.

So Elysium will cost me £7 instead of £12.87 (or what would have been £14.30 without 10% Cineworld discount). So, still a reasonable deal, saves me a few quid.

You order the ticket online (not for any specific movie, just a £2.50 ticket) at Tesco Clubcard by 26th August, print off the email ticket and take it to any Cineworld to use within 6 months.
 
cool, i usually use my vouchers for cinema, got about 40£ of vouchers to use too

important, point is how long are they valid for?..edit, 6 months, need to order loads on the last day of the offer

I've just found out I can get these vouchers with the new Natwest/RBS debit card cashback thing. Gonna register for that today.
