Hi there, I was wondering if you could help me decide on a new cpu cooler, I dont have allot of money to spend and Ive wittled it down to 2 I can get for under £20 these are the standard g-power and the arctic cooling freezer 64 pro.
My first priority is noise rather than cooling abbility but be cause one is rated at 0.8 sone and the other at 21.3 - 24.5 dB its kinda difficult to choose :S

Any help will be much appreciated,
Thanks
Adam

Arctic cooling products specialise in low noise levels, are very quiet, and id recommend them to anyone in that budget tbh, as they are some of the best coolers, while also being quiet :)

Well I had to order on monday and I went for the g-power, oh well its bound to be quieter than the stock amd fan so Ill be happy

:o

No problem, worst case, you can attach the fan to a controller or control it via bios if its noisy

Actually i think they come with a speed controller :)

AC all the way

My AC freezer 7 pro cools my [email protected] at only medium rpm's 100% load - two threads of Folding@home 24/7. (very been over 60 and it's the only fan in the case ;) )

Edit: Oops - missed the I've just order post. and yes its way better that the stock cooler.
