Hi all my daughter wanted css so i told her to look for orange box on steam as last time i looked at it css was part of the deal when she entered it in steam search it came up listing css as still being part of the bundle. When she had purchased it though css was not part of the bundle and now she has a load of games she isn't that interested in. So does anyone know where a cheap copy of css can be had as £16 i think it was is a bit steep for it on it's own as it used to come free.

Wow I could have sworn it was part of the deal!! (it came free with half life 2 back in the day that was first released too)

Its been a couple of quid in the steam sales a few times too, though its currently £14 :(

I thought I would have a spare one from the steam deals but it looks like I dont too, you could hope someone nice on here has an extra copy as the only other place i can think of is g2play and that place is a bit iffy (something about selling steam keys from much cheaper regions of europe that can get deactivated on steam apparently, though iv never seen that happen)

How could she not be interested in TF2 for Portal?!

The Orange Box - The compilation contains five games, all powered by Valve's Source engine. Two of the games included, Half-Life 2 and its first stand-alone expansion, Episode One, were previously released as separate products. Three new games are also contained within the compilation: the second stand-alone expansion, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, the puzzle game Portal, and Team Fortress 2

Never had CSS I'm afraid

Still you should encourage her to try TF2 out and Portal (just for the song at the end)

Thanks fhe replys guys sorry i am a bit late responding been a more hectic day then i thought it would. Thing is when she had the bundle on screen before she purchased it did list css i saw it myself and it was definately there but vanished after purchase not sure what that was about. I will tell her to keep an eye out on weekends deals as i know it has been on there a few times. I will tell her to try out HL2 for now as that should run fine on her laptop.
