Hey

I am looking at getting two 80 GB drives to give RAID0 a go. Anybody got any recommendations which 80 GB drives are best? Thanks in advance :)

I wouldn't bother with 80s, they're just not worth the money. Take a look at the various single platter 160Gb drives that are about - the Hitachi 7K160, the Seagate 7200.10 or the WD 1600AAJS.

Agree 100%, for a few quid more you would get much better Gb/$£.
I would get the Seagates if it was me as they are one of if not the most reliable manufactures of Hds imho.

Did not notice how similar in price the 80 GB and 160 GB drives are. Will take a look at them.
