Cheap electric oven

Fine then, ignore my advice............................move on and still be unsafe.
That's what happens when peeps ignore the obvious and just go for the cheapest and most stupid and dangerous option.

Why did you even ask for advice ?..............................................................................................when you had already decided on what you would not do anyway ?

What are you even on about? What advice?
I'm installing a single oven into the space where that old one was to, that's perfectly legal to be on a 13am plug and surely is even safer than what's on there now.
I asked for people's advice on supplier or models of ovens, not for someone to tell me my house is wired up incorrectly and they know more than the electrician that did my rewire.

God almighty, you peeps make me laugh. I bet you types will be the first to post on a forum about dodgy tradespeople if we did the same thing. I just absolutely wish that your home insurance company could trace you back from your post when you attempt to make a claim when something catches fire in your house (assuming you own it), would love to see your face when they tell you "computer says NO".

So you are a tradesman and you say you can't put a 13amp socket on the end of a 30amp cable that goes to a double pole (or whatever) switch then to it's own fuse in the fuse box? Well that's funny because I only copied what a qualified electrician did for a mate. Therefore my outlook on most tradesmen being chancers is confirmed.

Really, don't get me started on dodgy tradesmen, almost always I have to get them back to sort out their bodge jobs.

And you being a tradesman will know what I mean because you all cut corners these days.

Crikey it's all getting a bit personal in here!

Sensible advice if you want a temporary cheap oven buy one second hand Facebook is full of them for 10-20 quid we sold a really nice Bosch oven for £60!

On the wiring front without seeing it nobody here can know the f it is correct or not. Our last Bosch double oven was fine on a 13amp plug it was even in the manual as one of the ways to wire it up!

The indisit one I've ordered was £200 but got it for £135 in the end so not too bad, I'd happily have something second hand off Facebook but don't think the Mrs would enjoy cleaning a greasy oven from someone else haha.
