My missus has decided she would like a cheapish pc for playin some games while in bed at night. Was looking at something along the lines of the amd x4 750k and cheap fm2(?) Board along with possibly a 270x. Obv not looking to max out any games but hopefully at decent frames tho.

Also allow me a quick blast of bf4 in bed as well.

Looking to spend between 3-400 if its do able.

Only looking for cpu, mobo, gpu, ram and psu

The 750ti was a card I have noticed and researched a bit. However the r265 apparently blows it a way for not too much more and for sake of 20-30 the r270 is obv a lot better. Alrhough both will be more power hungry

Just giving you a base to work on, you will sacrifice CPU power for more GPU grunt.

TBH never thought about the 765.

The i5 option is a nice one, as those chips are very quick.

However, if you just don't want to spend as much money then this would make a good build:

Alternatively, a second hand i5 2500K/3570K and new Z77 board will give you very similar performance to a 4670K (especially when overclocked) for a bit less money.

Aye, the Bitfenix does a micro ATX version of the prodigy as well as the older Mini-ITX version.

Having built into an micro ATX one I can confirm there isn't going to be a full ATX version - as there just isn't enough room. Bitfenix may do a new case which is ATX compatible and is styled similarly to the prodigy, but AFAIK they haven't announced such a case (yet).

Another option would be to go for an Intel Haswell Quad core, but one that is a bit cheaper and doesn't overclock. Then couple that with a cheaper H81 board and you will just be within budget and could use a micro-ATX board/case. Even without overclocking, a 3GHz Haswell quad core will steam through pretty much all modern games.
