Hi guys

Can anyone tell me what should I be spending on an HDMI cable. I have seen them as low as a £5 and as high as £55 without looking very far. Although £10-£15 seems to be what most are going for. Is there a sweet spot on the price of these cable. ie when the image or/and general rugidness reaches a good enough level without paying over the odds for marginal improvements.

Cheers

Dont let anyone tell you that you need anything other than the cheapest you can find.

Other than that its on whether you want a pretty cable or not.

only thing you need to check is the quality of the connector, i bought a cheap one from a supermarket but the connector was crap and it needs a wiggle now and then.

I have had a PS3 for about a year in glorious 3phono quality, am going to pick up an LCD next weekend, so its great news that I don't have to spend much more to see the benefits of it.

we have used an £8 from the web, and the 40 pounder form the hi fi shop

both plug in and pass a signal. both look great

save the pennies for something that makes a difference

Anyone recommend some cheap ebay cable sellers? I need a few bits (hdmi, dvi to hdmi, 2xphono, 3xbarrel connectors)

grabbed a 2m hdmi from jamie olivers supermarket the other day for 4 quid, only need to pay more if you need 5-10m+ otherwise you're being mugged off :p
