Cheap Holidays.

Just heard part of a report on the radio.

It concerned the High street/online package holiday companies.

It seems they have had a bad year(shame) and are left with a lot of booked (by them anyway) holidays unsold.

Apparently prices go from £19 for a week.

I have seen some reasonable ones on the Thomas Cook site

14 nights 4* AI Cuba less than £400 per person.

or Turkey B&B £85 for seven nights.

Thought I would let people know.

I looked at a holiday to cuba, 7 days AI £249.00 by the time all the extras were added it worked out to £500.00 PP. The fuel surcharge was £130.00 per person!

nothing new I remember back in '95 we wanted to go visit a mates uncle in Rhodes. The flight was 129 but we could have fight and accomodation for 90 quid each... great holiday....

also got 2 weeks florida including the car and passes for parks for 300 quid each that year.
