Cheap HTPC XBMC build - Less than £100

I think you're going to struggle building a machine on that budget, even with second-hand parts.

My advice: hit eBay for a complete PC.

You can pick up a dual-core whatever with plenty of RAM for under £80.

I'd lean towards AMD, as I've generally found their graphics performance is better for multimedia. Most boxes will be Intel, but you can add a card for £20 should a machine be lacking HDMI or if you're worried about gfx performance.

The case looks nice but probably on the steep side again to be honest. I don't think I can find it anywhere that cheap.

Thanks for your response. I completely agree with what you are saying. However as I have a couple of the parts already, such as SSD and RAM I think this is doable.
 
120W will be totally fine for all of those CPUs. I run my Haswell I3 with 2 HDD and an SSD from a 120W. Even when I ran benchmarks on it I didn't have any issues with power.
