cheap knockoff xbox pad?

I paid £10 from a local resseller for a full MS XBox360 Controller. Used and in Immaculate condition. It is a standard USB connector that needs no adaptions at all. Plug and play. Some games may require you to download the driver software from MS, like XP and Vista and in some cases Windows 7 has to install drivers from the MS driver download site. Why wire when you can save a lot of hastle for £10.

Sorry to ninja the thread but does anyone know any cheap, but good controllers that work on both PS3 and PC? My PS3 controller died on me and new controllers cost £50 :o
Any ps3 controller will work.

You will need a compatible bluetooth adapter for the ps3 wireless pads, not all bluetooth adapters will work.

I'm using a madcatz fps pro pad on pc with no issues, it just needs setting up in games, but all games I've tried so far detect the buttons.

Yeah that's the one. Official pads are a good buy. Everything else pales in comparison really.

I'd just put up with a cable for the limited use.

I remember buying my wireless receiver for about 8 quid. They seem to have rocketed in price / become rarer

There are some good non official pads, Razer Sabertooth is brilliant, but then it is quite expensive.

Wouldn't bother with wireless, I've used both and if you're looking to save money wired is perfectly fine :)
