Cheap Maserati

Me either. I'm sure DM would be good to his word but I wouldn't feel comfortable going back with an issue 5 months after a private purchase. Private sales are very much a case of caveat emptor as far as I'm concerned.

Whilst this is very true, I get the feeling DM is the sort of chap who'd take offense if you didn't return it with any problem!

:)

I tell you what i see as a problem if there is going to be one, stupid electrical things i really cant see anything major mechanically going because iv done the 2 expensive things the auto clutch thing and the big service.

I don't get why you would take the Masar over the Porsche to be honest, considering how long you saved up for it?

I'm just about to eat and on my phone but i'll explain tomorrow morning. I didn't save specifically for the Porsche but a good car. A year in a 4200 sounds like something I can't say no to.

All right i'l get it ready for you, its a different drive i'l give it that.

The bit i least like is the half auto gearbox, having to give it a bit of accelerator to hold it on a hill and the fact its not really smooth in auto mode.

Anyway it is what it is, the first thing your going to notice after a Boxster is its a harder ride without it handling as well as yours.

*cancels PH ad* :p

Wait and see what James thinks, i spent a long time wanting one of these without actually trying one, then the reality was not as good as the dream, a bit like 3 somes :D

I know DM's price is a goodun, and six months reassurance is great (and heck £5k + £50 on the weekly even made me consider it :p) but it seems a bit odd how it's Princey and Peerzy who've only just got new cars going after this!

Top notch car there, if only I could ***** my house deposit on that Maserati now and just wait another year before buying said property this would be such an epic way to make myself single :p

What's the score with discs/pads, and how late was the missing service?

Depends what kind of 3 some.

What's the score with file sharing these days, what's the best site to upload to?

Googling for a suitable pic, saving it, logging into webspace, uploading it, then sharing the link is far too much effort for a 'witty' gag. There must some sort of one click alternative to simply hot-linking?

Disks and pads are 9 months and 5k miles old. The missing service im not sure i need to look at that, it was months late not years and only the small service.

Arse, I was hoping that they'd need doing soon... Is that front and rear?

Is this the engine out of the 355, or the 360? Don't these need the belts changing every other fortnight? Or is that the 'Big' service you mentioned? What's included in the 'Big' service?

The fronts the rears were fine.

The big service is the one with the chains/belts i cant remember what this has now to be honest or which Ferrari shares this engine, im not a big expert on Ferraris.

You know i might have had the back disks done as well when i first got it thinking about it, i know i deffo had the fronts done as they were knackered. The bills are all in the car i'l have a look when it comes back from the cleaners.
