Cheap Minecraft laptop c.£400

[Supermellow]

Hey guys, a colleague of mine is looking at getting a laptop for his daughter. Budget is c.£400 and needs to be able to play minecraft.

No idea what I'm looking for if I'm honest, is AMD still leading the field in with their APU or has the Iris taken over it?

Please help a confused man...

Got my two sons a Core i3 Lenovo B50-70 each for Christmas from a retailer that sounds a bit like eBayer. £249 each after £50 cashback (that Lenovo paid within 2 months). They run Minecraft very well indeed.

The only issue with the Lenovo laptops is that the trackpad has this very clever autoshutoff feature for when you are reaching over it typing, so it failed to respond to trackpad + keyboard presses at the same time when gaming. Its a know issue, and is fixed with a DWORD change in the registry (google "lenovo trackpad gaming issue" for details).
