Cheap mp3 player for technophobe

I bought my wife one of those cheap, key-fob style 512Mb mp3 players off an auction site for my wife. Anyhow it didn't work properly and I somehow got a refund (it was made with cheap Chinese RAM etc). But it did only cost £40 :rolleyes:

I think she deserves a better mp3 player

Any ideas? I need something very easy to use (I will probably end up teaching her), reliable and cheap. Looking at around max 512Mb as she does not have many CDs. Maybe the shuffle?

You can buy a brand new 512mb mp3 player for £40 never mind off the bay....

Have a look on the OcUK website and they have some USB stick style mp3 layers for fairly cheap prices.

The Creative Zen Nano Plus or Muvo range are worth a look. Good quality, small, light and easy to use.
