Cheap Office Build

I am looking for a cheap office PC that will be decent at using MS Office and reading emails.

The cheaper the better, I don't need a OS.

Do you need monitor keyboard and or mouse? Do you have a server for storage?

If you do have server storage then what about this? This will obviously smash reading emails lol. But will also handle heavier Excel and powerpoint work easily too. I don't think there is any point going Ryzen 3 because the cost of DDR4 is just throwing money away for this use case. Could be slightly cheaper but OC seem sold old on some of the cheaper bits.

If its just for using office and looking at emails then i think this should be more than enough

@Dom86, the RAM you've suggested is DDR3 and the board is DDR4. For a basic office PC, the Celeron should be just fine, as would the Ryzen. I personally wouldn't invest into the AMD FX platform as it's now end of life.

I would be getting an SSD. Does make a big difference. Especially for office use where you are opening and closing programs a lot.
