I am looking for a cheap office PC that will be decent at using MS Office and reading emails.

Yup you're right. my bad i had that ram in the basket from an emulation build i was doing@Dom86, the RAM you've suggested is DDR3 and the board is DDR4. For a basic office PC, the Celeron should be just fine, as would the Ryzen. I personally wouldn't invest into the AMD FX platform as it's now end of life.
