Cheap quiet PSU Needed :)

Looking for the above...Dont need to be anymore than 450w

Must be pretty much silent

Can anyone recommend anything?

Not sure now if 420w will be enough now.

I'm using atm a Hiper Type-r series 530w PSU which is just too load imo.

I'm now thinking of replacing the fans.

Is this safe to do?.....Do i have to replace the fans to the same specs as the one in the PSU?

Also any ideas without me opening the unit are the fans simple fan headers or soldered?

EDIT:Now swaying towards the PC P&C PSU again after finding out hiper have now gone bust :eek:

Do you think 420w will be enough?

ahh for running 2 gfx cards maybe not, dint realise you had them in, youre best to get this then, BeQuiet straightpower 650W, £66.99

Yeah would suggest something more than 420w

I'm getting the pc power ........... but then I have hardly any hardware, I think it pulls 210 at load

ahh yeah, think they had a bad batch a year or two ago, afaik all good again now, but the BeQuiets are obviously superior
