Wondering what the best/cheapest solution would be - I've got a garden room 15m away from the house with only an ethernet cable for internet, is there something I could plug into the cable to offer wireless?

Internet speeds aren't of concern it's more to just stay online with phones, I'm totally clueless with this kind of stuff so any suggestions welcome! thanks :)

If you have a spare router lying around you can set it to access point mode, or if it doesn't offer that, change the IP to something different from the main router and then turn of the DHCP server on it.

Alternatively TP-Link for example does cheap access points on the rainforest.

Agree TP-Link is cheap and good, you will probably need a PoE injector unless you buy one with an AC Adapter to plug-in into the wall for power.
