Cheap wireless

Hey,

I got my macbook last week and its great.. but to get on the net ive got to be next to my PC which is a bit annoying.

So is there anyway really cheap solution to this? I've already got a ADSL router which is fantastic compared to a modem... so I dont want to spend like £40 on something I wont use A LOT. Can I get like an antenna which will plug into the back of my router - say one of the ethernet port thingys? Or do I have to actually buy a wireless router? The health issue is also something which might concern me (okay it may be hyped but I can see why they think there could be problems) so it'd be great to have a something which I can switch on and off.

Any recomendations?

Hello Mate,

You can get a wireless access point which will connect to one of your ethernet ports on your router but there not normally a lot cheaper than a wireless router

Otherwise you could see if anyone has a second hand one on MM.
