This is truly staggering, £45 delivered if your a loyal forum member for a Seagate 1.5TB HDD, truly incredible value for money.

If your wondering what clean pull is, it is where several thousand PC's have been built ready for O.S. installation but never sold, so the PC's are dismantled and put back too stock. So because of this we are only offering a 1yr warranty on these drives, however the remainder of the warranty with the manufacturer will still stand. :)

Seagate warranty is 3yrs.

However these are SI (system integrator) stock which can sometimes mean 1yr warranty, hence why our website states 1yr. But we shall find out for sure tomorrow and if they do have 3yr warranty we shall update the website to reflect this but if they are 3yr warranty our price shall also go up as well to reflect that. :)

actually it wouldnt really an o/s drive for me, it would be a storage drive for games and data, id still be using my vertex 2 as os :)
 
Seagates for mission critical, data centre use all day long. They have a good rep for RMA's or data centres wouldn't touch them.

Seagates at the moment are definately one of the most reliable brands in the market, which is the main reason we use them in a majority of our full systems. I have Seagate myself and have purchased one of these and they have never let me down, I am sure others can say the same too.
 
Had finally decided on an extra chunk of storage but I see the price is now 49.98, is this because the drives "remaining manufacturer warranty" was longer than initially thought?

Nope, its was a special promo price, its now gone up, but I believe our price is still the cheapest in the UK. :)
