cheapest android phone for app development

hi all.

i'm working on some apps, and currently test them on my HTC Hero.. but i'm in need of a second device to test as well (app needs to communicate over 2 devices).

so i'm looking for a suitable, cheap, android phone - any ideas? Pulse? Or if someone can lend me one for a while, that'd be nice too

Can't you use the emulator in the SDK to test?

i can use it for testing the code etc, but i need a second device to test and demo the app once it's finished.

ebay, but now the seller is being a pain in the bottom - stating that it didnt meet the reserve, so won't sell it to me. Hey, here's an idea - if you want a reserve price, then set one!!!

If he didn't set a reserve that's his fault.Put a complaint into ebay about it.

done that, found another i wanted to buy and in the time it took to report - someone else bought the other one. doh!!

they're coming in quite pricey still. plus was gonna give the phone to the gf once i've done with it - and she thinks the hero is too big as a phone, so a tattoo would've been bob on! I'll keep looking.
