Cheapest CISCO switch or ADSL router that can do port mirroring

Hi,

For security/curiosity reasons I'd like to set up a mirrored port for one of the devices on my network, does anyone know a cheap switch or ADSL router that has this feature? Cisco vastly preferred.

If you’ve got CCNA shouldn’t you be in a position to spec your own switch?

Fair enough. If you're set on using Cisco kit you may be better off asking in 'Servers and Enterprise Solutions' rather than in here.

I've setup port mirroring on a Cisco 2960 a few months ago for a client. However, I belive the 2950s support port mirroring but they may have a reduced feature set. Just look for Cisco SPAN.

Pretty much any managed cisco switch will do it. Probably the cheapest would be a 2900 series. Not sure what software version you'd need but 12 onwards would probably make sure.
